Obituary for Wallace Charles Palmer

Wallace C. Palmer Sr. of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on his 93rd Birthday.

Wallace was born April 12, 1925 in Elcho, WI to Dudley and Elizabeth (Montgomery) Palmer. He was united in marriage to Darlene Best on June 28, 1947.

Wallace enjoyed fishing, watching the Brewers, Bucks and Packers. He loved antiques and Picking, Wallace loved haggling and was all about the deal.

Wallace is survived by his loving children, Wallace (Judy) Palmer Jr. of Appleton, Dale (Donna) Palmer of Hartford, Deborah (Earl) Christenson of Hartford, and Ann (Bernie) Plaskey of West Bend; 9 cherished grandchildren, Todd, Wally and Adam, Keith (Stacy), Daniel, Ellissa (Greg), Andy, Rebecca, and Melodie; cherished great-grandchildren, Dylan (Kendall), Austin, Kyle, Aaron, Warren, Jorden, Aaden and Natalie; great great grandchildren Arieanna and Wyatt. Brother Elmer Palmer. He is further survived by loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Darlene in 2008, his parents and his siblings Gene, Bill, Ken, Irene, and Marlene.

Funeral Services for Wallace will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027) Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30-2:00p.m.

Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are appreciated.
