Obituary for Stanley Z. Les

Stanley Z. Les, age 74 passed away suddenly on Monday, February 12, 2018. He was born on June 23, 1943 in Zabkowice, Poland to parents Stanley and Gertrude (Staniszewski) Les. Stanley and his mother came to the US on April 1, 1947. He proudly became a citizen on June 16, 1955. He was a 1961 graduate of South Division High School in Milwaukee. Stanley was united in marriage on May 11, 1965 at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee to Judith Jegier. He worked at Bel Aire Music Studio and retired in 2006 from Miller Brewing Company.

Stanley enjoyed fishing, watching movies and reading science fiction books. He will be remembered as a hard worker and dedicated to his family. Stanley loved spending time with family, camping and attending sporting events. He also enjoyed tending to his containers of vegetables.

Stanley is survived by three daughters, Ann (Scott) MacPherson, Karen (Kevin) Kapellusch and Diane (Larry) Abel; seven grandchildren, Michael and Courtney MacPherson, Allyson (Michael) Borst; Stephanie, Amanda, Michelle and LJ Abel; brother, George (Sandy) Les; brother-in-law, Ted Jegier; sister-in-law, Barbara (Ron) Milner; also survived by other relatives and friends. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith; and sister-in-law, Judy Jegier.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State St., Hartford on Friday, February 16 at 1:00 PM with Fr. David LaPlante presiding. Visitation for family and friends on Friday, at the Church from 11:00 AM until time of Mass. Burial at St. Kilian Church Cemetery.
