Mary Lynn Jo Abbott (nee Ferstl) age 75 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away peacefully and comfortably on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend, WI.

Mary was born February 16, 1943 in Reedsburg, WI to Vera T. (nee Grauvogl) and Joseph H. Ferstl. She was united in marriage to Richard H. She graduated St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield, WI and was a registered nurse at Hartford Memorial Hospital for 30 years. Mary enjoyed: baking for her family and for church functions, bowling, crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles and word searches, reading Danielle Steele books, watching Wheel of Fortune and shows at the Fireside Dinner Theatre, taking day bus trips with Dick, and most of all she loved time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Brian (Sara) Abbott of Cornell, James “Jim” Abbott of Hartford, and Lynn (Dan) Biertzer of Hartford; cherished grandchildren, Grady and Emma Abbott of Cornell, and Evan and Lucy Biertzer of Hartford; dear siblings, Karen Ferstl of Sheboygan, Kenneth Ferstl of Denton, Texas, Kolleen Johnson of Cottage Grove; dear siblings-in-law, Sue Ferstl of La Valle; Dorothy Waddell of Grafton, Lenore Abbott of Cudahy, Douglas (Sue) Abbott of Waukesha, and Dianne Abbott of Yucaipa, CA. She is further survived by loved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Richard H. Abbott; parents; parents-in-law, Douglas G. and Lucille E. (nee Wagner) Abbott; brother, Allen Ferstl; and siblings-in-law, Andrew Johnson, Sondra Ferstl, Donald Abbott and Tom (Delores) Abbott, and Tom Waddell.
