Obituary for Carol A. Kreuser

Carol A. Kreuser (nee Weber) age 74 of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at The Pavilion at Glacier Valley in Slinger.

Carol was born on September 3, 1943 to Elmer and Lucille (nee Herman) Weber in Hartford. She was united in marriage to Frederick “Fritz” Kreuser on September 14, 1963 at St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford. She enjoyed watching the birds especially hummingbirds, collecting angels, playing Cribbage and the dice game Phase 10, traveling, reading, watching the Green Bay Packers Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of St. Kilian Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

Carol is survived by her two loving daughters, Jennifer (Christopher) Welch of Mayville and Rebecca Kreuser of Hartford; three cherished grandchildren, Joshua and Alyssa Welch, and Breanna Kreuser; four cherished great-grandchildren, Cameron Kreuser, Avery Rodriguez, Sage LaPorte, and Lana Welch; dear sister, Suzanne Weber of West Bend; dear brother-in-law, Syl (Georgie) Kreuser of Hartford; dear sisters-in-law, Eileen Kreuser of West Bend and Sally (Rusty) Rusniak of Hartford. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary (nee Stuettgen) Kreuser; her beloved husband of 42 years, Fritz; sister, Margaret (Alvin)Regan; brothers-in-law, Joseph (Loretta), Hubert (Esther), and Ollie (Eileen) Kreuser; sisters-in-law, Louise (Walter) Held, Helen (Paul) Neu, Marie (Richard)Whipple, and Ardis (Richard) Whipple; dear cousin, Mary Tapp and special friend, Mary Seefeldt.

Mass of Christian Burial for Carol will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W. State Street Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027) from 4:00p.m.-7:00p.m.

Interment St. Kilian’s Cemetery, Hartford on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Formal procession from Shimon Funeral Home, 9:45a.m.
