Suzanne Jean Moldenhauer (nee Sturm) age 70 passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from pulmonary fibrosis (interstitial lung disease) at the Aurora Hartford Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Suzanne was born August 24, 1946 to Martin and Rosetta (nee Koch) Sturm. She was united in marriage to Allen Moldenhauer on September 10, 1966 at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.  She worked for Chrysler Outboard Corporation in Hartford until starting a family.  She then went onto farming with Allen from driving tractor to milking cows and taking care of the calves.  She enjoyed baking, canning, reading, decorating for the different holidays, yard work, especially mowing her lawn. Suzanne loved spending time with her family and precious grandchildren. She was a longtime member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church and their Ladies Aid.

Suzanne is survived by her beloved husband of fifty years, Allen; loving children, Brian (Lisa), Steven (Brenda), and Gina Moldenhauer, Sara (Jason) Boeck all of Iron Ridge; cherished grandchildren, Mark (Randi) Bartlett, Felicia (Justin) Andrew, Mason Moldenhauer, Ashton and Destanie Boyd, Larissa, Gavin, Aubrey, Claire, and Julia Moldenhauer, Paige, Madison, Landon Boeck; cherished great-grandchildren,  Kegan Wiedmeyer, Savanna Andrew; dear sisters, Jeanne Wille, Joan (Robert) Theisen, Jayne (Ken) Chapman, Christine (Dave) Schroeder; dear siblings-in-law, Bonnie (Willis) Kummerow, Laurie (Merlin) Heinecke, Beth (Dennis) Shelburne. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and cherished dog, Ozzy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kent Sturm; brother-in-law, Don Wille; niece, Tracy DeMorett; nephew, Daniel Kummerow; and parents-in-law, Harlin and Lu Villis Moldenhauer.

A Memorial Service for Suzanne will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.  at St. Matthew Lutheran Church (306 Herman Street Iron Ridge, WI 53035) with Pastor Larry Mose officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00p.m. Inurnment in St. Matthew’s Church Cemetery.

Memorials are appreciated to St. Matthew’s Church or School. The entire family would like to thank her husband Allen “Dad” and Aurora Hospice, especially nurse Liz for their care and support of Suzanne.
