Philip R. Thompson, age 55, of Hartford passed away Monday, June 25, 2012.
Philip was born November 16, 1956 to Russell and Norma (Phillips) Thompson in Hartford.
He worked for Menasha Corporation for 33 years and drove for the Hartford City Taxi for 15 years. He enjoyed watching movies at home and building Warhammer Figures.
Philip is survived by his daughters Rebecca Thompson of Minnesota and Charlotte Dodd of Hartford; his grandchildren Dhruv Sharma, Soren Klebba, Wayne, Connor and Cecoya Dodd; his fiancé Dorothy Steinmetz; and his sisters Jean Marcone and Lisa (Jon) Schmidt. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Norma Thompson.
A Celebration of Life for Philip will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home.
