Lloyd Moritz

Lloyd J. Moritz, of West Bend, age 83, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.

Lloyd was born February 7,1929 in West Bend to Oscar and Rosalia (nee Ritger) Moritz. He was united in marriage to Barbara Dietenberger on August 20, 1960 at St. Kilian Catholic church in Hartford.

Lloyd was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic church and the Washington County Farm Bureau. He was devoted to farming and raising his family. Lloyd was born, raised, and passed away on the Moritz Century Farm.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Sue (Patrick) Wendt, Peter Moritz, Agnes (Eric) Dietenberger, Theresa (Scott) Meyer, and Laura Moritz; grandchildren, Melissa and Joseph Wendt, AJ and Zach Dietenberger and Jacob Meyer; and his sister LaVerne Moritz.

He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his infant daughter Mary, his parents, sister Marion, and sister-in-law Connie Bonde.

Mass of Christian Burial for Lloyd will be on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4886 Hwy 175, St. Lawrence with Fr. Joseph Dominic officiating.

Visitation at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery in St. Anthony.
