Kenneth Kunz

Kenneth Kunz of Neosho passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He was 73 years old.

He was born on August 26, 1938, in Mapleton, Minnesota, to Herbert and Hazel (nee Margelofsky) Kunz. He married Jeanne Wiser on August 20, 1960, and was a longtime resident of Neosho, Wisconsin.

Kenneth graduated from Hartford Union High School. He was a longstanding member of the Neosho Sportsmen’s Club and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Kenny was an avid outdoorsman. He received much joy from fishing, hunting and golfing. He was a Product Development Supervisor at Fiberesen Industries in Oconomowoc where he worked for 44 years before retiring in 2001. Kenneth was proud to serve his country in the US Army from 1961 through 1963.

He is survived by his daughter Kerry Kunz of Sacramento, California, his AFS daughter Maricela Caceres of Arequipa, Peru; his brother Roger (Cindy) Kunz of Neosho and his sister Joyce Kelm of Lake Mills; his brother-in-law Gilbert (Patricia) Wiser of Neosho; his sister-in-law Shirley (Roland) Greuel of Hustisford; his uncle Virgil Margelofsky of Brookfield, his aunt Pearl Hathaway of Beaver Dam, his aunt Elaine Kunz of Minnesota and his aunt-in-law Mickey Knecht of Hartford. He is also survived by his beloved dog Oprah and many beloved cousins, cousins-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Kunz, his brother Dale Kunz, his nephew Conrad Kunz and his parents Herbert and Hazel Kunz.

Funeral Services for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012,

at 5:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Neosho. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church before the service from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Memorials can be made in Kenneth’s name to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Kenneth will be loved and missed by many.
